London, 16 September 2019 – Redburn (Europe) Ltd, the independent equity research and execution firm, today announces that Steve East has joined as Head of Sector Research. Steve will also become a partner at the firm.

Reporting to Robert Miller, Redburn’s Head of Research Services, Steve takes overall responsibility for sector research, managing teams comprising 53 analysts in total.

Steve brings with him more than 20 years of experience in equity research, including almost a decade as Head of EMEA Equity Research & Global Head of HOLT at Credit Suisse. Prior to this, Steve was Head of Aerospace and Defence research at Credit Suisse, having been a top-ranking analyst in the sector.
